Migraine and Neck Tension Headaches
What is it and what causes it?
Some persistent migraines and headaches are a result of continuous muscle tension and spasm. This muscle overactivity can be a response to physical and mental stress, depression, trauma, or anxiety.
TSC Treatment
Injectable treatments are commonly used to treat chronic migraine and tension headaches that have not been successfully managed with primary methods of treatment. Similar to anti-wrinkle treatments, the injections work to partially paralyse the muscles and pain-perceiving nerves, preventing further over-stimulation and consequently, a significant decrease in the frequency and severity of associated headaches.
