The Tasmanian Skin Clinic has relocated to 64 Oldaker Street, Devonport. Our brand new, purpose-built practice is located just across from the Coles/Woolworths shopping complex, next to the Devonport Eye Clinic. We have 11 dedicated and secure parking spaces on site for our clients, including a disabled parking space. Additionally, street parking can be easily found if required.

Booking enquiries can be made online (see enquiry form to the left) or alternatively you can call our friendly reception staff directly on (03) 6424 5003.

We kindly ask that clients arrive 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, clients may be late or can no longer attend the allocated appointment time, we request that you inform our reception staff accordingly. Failure to attend without prior notification often means we are unable to accommodate other clients needing appointments. The practice therefore charges a non-attendance fee of $30.

If possible, new patients are kindly requested to print and complete a Tasmanian Skin Clinic - New Patient Form prior to attending your first appointment. If you are unable to do so, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time for this.

You do not need a referral to see the doctors, nurses or cosmetic therapists here at the Tasmanian Skin Clinic.

Any referrals received from your GP are generally valid for a period of 12 months, while referrals from a specialist are valid for 3 months.

For consultations and procedures with our Doctors, patients may be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Please ensure you bring your Medicare card with you as we can electronically submit your Medicare claim online.

Please Note: Private Health Insurance does NOT cover any procedures or consultations.

Due to the cost of providing specialist medical services, we unfortunately do not bulk bill. Our reception staff will provide information regarding consultation fees however additional costs for other medical, dermatologic or cosmetic procedures should be discussed with your practitioner.

Regarding surgical procedures, if any tissue specimen is sent to a specialist pathologist for further investigation, you will be required to pay an additional amount for which Medicare may offer a rebate.

Please note that private fees are expected to be paid on the day of your appointment. Payments can be made with Cash, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard (sorry, no American Express) and we can submit your Medicare claims on the spot. We are unable to issue accounts.

We also accept Department of Veteran Affairs Gold Card and appropriate White Card holders.

Our doctors may only issue repeat prescriptions without a consultation if you have been seen within the last 3 months. If you require a repeat prescription and have not been seen by the doctor within that time, a consultation is required before the Doctor will issue a repeat.
